For any business owner in any field, having a website is an integral part of today's online-oriented society.

Websites can be used for an abundance of things including educational, commercial, financial, artistic, and/or promotional purposes. BUT! They can also be distracting and disorganized, lack credibility, be unsearchable, and/or detract potential customers from buying if the copy is error-ridden and confusing.

This is where I can help. Below you will find different packages I offer to assist you with creating a website that is clear, concise, consistent, and reader-friendly.

Rates

My rates are based on a per project basis, but generally speaking, the proofreading package is often the cheapest package, and the advanced editing package is often the most expensive.

Packages

Website Copy Proofreading

This package is suitable for webpages/websites that are ready to go live but need one final go-over. No major changes to the text/copy occur within this package.

Services include

conducting a proofread of your webpages/ website (e.g., Home page, Landing pages, About page, Services page, etc.)
analyzing the visual appearance of copy on your website (such as orphans and widows, alignment, font choice etc.)

Website Copy Basic Editing

This package is aimed at websites/webpages that may need to be more clear, accurate, consistent, complete, and/or are still a work in progress.

Services include

conducting a copy edit of your website or select pages (e.g., Home page, Landing pages, About page. Services page etc.)
recommending possible relocation of content and structural changes within your website and webpages (i.e. relocating content from your About page to your Home page)
ensuring copy is web ready by following best practice guidelines of web writing (e.g., integrating headlines and bullet points)
creating a style sheet if your business doesn't have one already

Website Copy Advanced Editing

This package serves the same purpose as the Website Copy Basic Editing package but contains the additional service of SEO assistance

Services include

conducting a copy edit of your website (e.g., Home page, Landing pages, About page etc.)
recommending possible relocation of content and structural changes within your website and webpages (i.e. relocating content from your About page to your Home page)
ensuring copy is web ready by following best practice guidelines of web writing (e.g., integrating headlines and bullet points)
creating a style sheet if your business doesn't have one already
assisting with SEO and keyword optimization on a page-by-page basis.
